For our 9th year anniversary ale, we decided to do something different. We aimed to alter the taste buds of craft beer drinkers everywhere. We are re imagining the craft beer market place. We introduce to you the India Pale Ale. We scoured the history books and discovered a process called dry hopping. Through this process, Disruptor IPA became a showcase for all the amazing flavors and aromas imparted by hops. Every barrel of beer is loaded with 5lbs of hops, so when the beer hits your mouth, it disrupts your senses, in all the right ways.

Bottle from Point Fuel & Pantry, Point Roberts, WA
Hazy amber color, medium sized head. Malt and caramel base, quite lean, moderately sweet, not too old style; on the other side, the hopping is very resiny and quite zesty, fairly bitter too.
The result is a fairly old style beer, but still very enjoyable.

Bottle - Some citrus and orange peel. Cloudy copper range with a small white head. Up front bitterness, touch of perfume and a long finish. Not bad.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out faint piney hops and some biscuity malt to back -- smells a bit old. Flavour is similar, with spicy piney hops, backed by dry biscuity malt. A bit astringent on the finish, but it's not too detracting. Pretty average IPA. Meh.

Bottle brought to bottle share from Safeway in Ephrata Wa. Iron Horse’s anniversary ale, and its a real good straight up IPA, nice hop choices and lots of fruitiness while still bringing home the bitterness. Orange/amber/gold body with nice medium substantial head. Nicely done IH!
