Smells of soft brown sugar. Has a good foam on top of a very black body. Flavour is good hints of coffee and barley. Mouthfeel is kind of weak, on the watery side for a nitro. This is a decent drinking darker brew, reliable anyway.

Draught at the brewery
The color is near black, with light brown creamy head. Aroma of wet cardboard. Dry mouthfeel, smooth; it has a good blend of dark chocolate and dark roasted coffee, a bit ashy in the final, with moderate acidity from the dark malts.
Nice.

On tap at Foamer's Folly, pours a cloudy dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out prominent toasted nuts, some light cocoa and crusty bread. Flavour is along the same lines, with the crusty rye bread dominating, followed by dry cocoa and toasted nuts. Nice roastiness on the finish. Falls a bit flat though in the body on the finish. Decent.

Draft - Lots of toasted malts and some nutty notes. Deep cloudy brown with a decent beige head. Lots of toast and some nice darker malts. A little aggressive for a brown but still decent.
