Aged on oak, with rich notes of orange & cocoa, our decadent Winter Ale pairs perfectly with dark skies & fresh falling snow.
To mark our 10th Anniversary back in January 2013, we celebrated with a new Limited Release darkly delicious winter brew. It since returns at the first sign of winter, for a limited time only...

Black color, medium sized creamy head, beige. Mild aroma of roasted malt, firewood, fresh. Smooth mouthfeel, lean body, with good flavour of roasted malt, some dark chocolate, light leather, very light liquorice. The bitterness is rather low.
Pleasant , balanced.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of burnt roasted malt, some spices, sort of a chicory note, and burnt wood. Flavour is bizarre, binging out burnt roasted malt, some slightly tart notes, wood, chicory / licorice, and some slight sweetness. Bizarre flavours all over the place without much cohesion, but it's still mildly enjoyable. Good stuff, but could use some more crafting to cut out the harsh edges.
