Dark amber color, red hue, small head. The light apple in the aroma can be acetaldehyde; the body is bold, the flavor relies on caramel, correctly hopped, moderately sweet.
Overall, balanced; but nothing exciting, still good.

On tap at Callister, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a good mix of resinous hop and caramel malts. Flavour is similar, with lots of resinous hops and bready caramel malts. There is a weird earthy finish that is a bit detracting, but it's not ruinous. Medium residual sugar. Flawed but decent.
