On tap at Schilling, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is perfumey as hell, with lots of barrels and booze. Flavour is hugely barrel heavy and boozy, with loads of whiskey, booze and perfume. Too abrasive and lacking balance and cohesion. Not a complete trainwreck but it's pretty hard to drink. Meh.

Draft - Woody and alcohol notes with some funky oak. Clear gold. Tart barrel and Woody herbal notes. Lots of wood, which is obvious and appreciated just not good.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear gold with white bubbles. Aroma is mild bourbon and spice? Near med body. Flavor is light astringent wood, hint of bourbon and a fair amount of winter spices. Bourbon builds with time, but the spices do that too. Good cider, finishing towards dry.

On tap at the 2013 Holiday Ale Fest. Pours a clear golden color with some small white bubbles. The aroma is mostly sweet apples, honey and vanilla. The flavor is big tart apples, woody, some light vanilla, bourbon barrel, light heat. Quite good. Fresh and tasty.
