Strawberry Berliner Weisse
One of our favourite beers to come from our favourite Particularist – Iain Hill. He took a sessionable Berliner, aged it for 6 months then added about a hundred pounds of local strawberries to the mix. The result: A tart, sour, sessionable glass of goodness that won’t be around for too long. The obnoxious Little Persona (OLP) is a salute to our friend who tagged our wall in chalk a few months ago … thanks for the inspiration.

Draft - Lots of lacto cheesy norptes and strawberry. Cloudy pinkish orange with a creamy white head. Tart, cheesy and Berry with an acidic finish. Yeast has seriously changed this with a few weeks age. Still nice, but not a BW.Earlier Rating: 6/28/2015 Total Score: 3.7Draft - Cheesy, funky tart strawberry. Cloudy. Light pink with a white head. Strawberry, cheese, tart and acidity. No hint of the pepper. Interesting and weird, but nice.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy pink-red color with small head. Nice aroma of raspberries, lemon, peach soda. The mouthfeel is very dry; tart, with strong lemon character; fruit punch; in the final, is just a bit too yeasty, which gives wheaty and bready notes, not unpleasant, but make this beer unclean.
Harmonious and with character; very good.
Earlier Rating: 11/12/2015 Total Score: 2.7
Draught at The Colony, Vancouver
Cloudy pink-red color. The aroma is fruity, but also soapy. The mouthfeel is smooth, sour, a bit fruity, but there is too much yeast and therefore the flavor is very bready, doughy. A little pinch from the pepper.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a cloudy pinkish amber with a small white head. Nose brings out fresh strawberries, some lacto and pithy notes. Flavour has the perfect amount of sweetness accompanying the fresh strawberries, a touch of lacto and a touch of pith. Fresh, juicy and highly drinkable. Really great.
