Tasting at Matt’s, 11% ABV
Beautiful dark amber color with small head, Behind the beauty, there is a mess of diacetyl, oranges and caramelly malt.
I’m diacetyl-tolerant, I can drink this one, but it’s seriously unprofessional.

Bottle - Butterscotch and orange syrup. Clearish orange copper with a decent white head. Swee orange syrup and bitterness.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out a massive diacetyl infection, with caramel malts and resin -- what an infection. Flavour is hugely sweet and infected, with lots of candied sugar, caramel malts, resinous hops, and tons of diacetyl. What a massive infection here -- it's almost funny how wrong this is. Embarrassingly infected and terrible.

22 oz bottle poured. Bottled on 10/13/2015. Thanks Kris for the bottle. Pours a clear golden copper with a lasting foam head. Huge earthy hop heavy aroma. Flavor is a ton of tropical fruit, and a heavy hop bitter. Sweet mango like fruit finish. Tastes so strong. Comes of as too heavy for my usual liking. The late palate is nice and refreshing fruit. Big league IPA here for sure.

Keg at The Beermongers, PDX, 09/11/14. Rich amber with a good sized light beige covering that retais well - this is a handsome beer and fully deserving of a 5 ! Nose is bitter grapefruit, juicy hops, pine jacket, orange pith. Taste comprises caramel malt but not OTT in this respect - no malt bomb here, juicy hops, light mango, bitter orange, grapefruit. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitterness. Solid IIPA, drinks like a 7%’er!
