Bottle from Sourced Market, St. Pancras. Murky, grey brown colour. Beige, bubbly head. Really quite ugly looking! Aroma has lots of overripe fruit. Ripe banana is distinct. Lots of caramel. Some fresh strawberry too. Tastes strawberry sweet initially, then a pungent bitterness. Big, alcoholic kick. Big, tongue numbing, dry finish.

Bottle at home, from RealAle.com Twickers, 14/09/13. Hazed dark orange amber with a decent sized light beige head. Nose is caramelised sugars, hops, red grapefruit, light pine. Taste comprises caramel malt, sweet toffee, light booze, red grapefruit, sugars, hops. Fullish body, fine carbonation, residual sugars and hop bitterness in the fnish. Ok DIPA - a little overly sweet and lacking balance somewhat compared to the best in the style but decent enough none the less.
