The holidays are full of surprises and not all of them are welcome. Despite the seasonal pressures , we hope you enjoy the fermented surprises our elves have tucked away for the next 23 days (sorry to ruin the surprise), this first beer is full of rich Belgian flavour and pours a deep red due to the addition of beets. Welcome to the Snowcase.

Bottle from the Snowcase 2015, Advent calendar
Red color, clear, no head. Beets aroma, a bit earthy, and vegetable. Dry mouthfeel, lean body; dirty mouthfeel, earthy, no bitterness.
Really poor.

341mL bottle, pours a hazy pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma brings out rich notes of beets -- very strange notes. Flavour is basically just beets, with some floral notes and a touch of Belgian yeast. Not a lot of character to this, as it's pretty one-dimensional. The beets aren't even that potent. Meh.
