Saisons were brewed for farmhands to reward their hard work. This label was designed by artist Stu Dobell, whose hard work brings life to many of our projects. It’s beer that inspires art, that inspires the art of brewing beer.

Bottle from the Snowcase 2015, Advent calendar
Blond color, clean, with small frothy head. The aroma is delicate spicy and fruity; the mouthfeel is off-dry and a bit oily; the flavor is a bit spicy, with some plastic flavor too; dry finish, a bit boozy.
Not too bad, but quite basic.

Bottle - Very sweet and perfumy. Clear gold with almost no head. Sweet and perfumy with candy like notes. Little esters and more sweetness.

341mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is very faint, with floral notes and light Belgian yeast. Flavour is pretty bland, with restrained Belgian yeast and a touch of floral quality upfront. Very bland and lacking character. Inoffensive, but a rather pointless beer. Good job once again, Phillips.
