Bottle - Dark chocolate, nutty notes, toasted malts and a syrupy sweetness. Jet black with a small light brown head. Lots of nutty sweet notes, light coffee and some toast. Not bad.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Black color with brownish compact head. Dry, roasty, a bit ashy, with traces of dark chocolate and some lactose. Correct bitterness. A bit of burnt wood in the final, and infinitesimal sourness.
Uneventful Stout.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of lactose, oats and a little roast. Flavour is very smooth, with notes of lactose upfront, with secondary notes of oats and cocoa. Perfectly structured for the style. Nice stuff.
