Poetry and beer go hand in hand.... The balance and rhythm in both creates a seamless artistry that rolls over your palate and lingers, waiting to be deciphered. This oatmeal stout balances smooth mouth feel with bittersweet roasted flavours to brighten the blackest of days.

Bottle from Denman Liquor Store, Vancouver
Dark brown color with almost no head. Dark beer, lean and dry, more a Dunkel with roasted nuts than a true Stout.
Not a bad beer, just one more in the pile.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small off-white head. Aroma is dry, with notes of oats and dry cocoa. Flavour is similar, with oats and dry cocoa. Smooth on the palate, with a touch of residual sweetness on the finish - no metallic notes, which is a plus. Decent.
