473ml can. Named after Lord Byron's 'Darkness' poem. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a small, creamy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Mild, sweet aroma of roasted malt, milk chocolate, caramel and earth. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, earth, ash, light licorice and oats in a dry, mild bitter coffee finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty simple, but tasty.

Nice blackish brown body and okay foam, good biscuit character. Flavour is sweet caramel, coffee notes, light cinnamon that makes it seem sort of medicinal. Medium dryness. Just okay.

Roast and some oatmeal. Piura black with ok head. Some light maple and caramel. Bitter like Ogo Pogo whenever anyone mentions how famous Nessie is.

Draft - Dark chocolate and nice roasty notes. Deep brown with a light off white head. Toasty notes and and light malt, very subtle. Maybe too subtle without the big flavours and body expected.
