A bright golden Saison with a fruity aroma, crisp flavours of lemon, and a sour finish
We collaborated with North Vancouver’s The Teaguy to come up with two twists on a traditional Belgian Saison: kettle soured and tea-infused.
Ingredients: water, malted barley, hops, yeast, organic green tea leaves, organic citrus peels, organic flower petals
Hops: Sterling
Malts: Pilsner, Rye, Aromatic, Flaked Rye

Bottle - Sweet peach. Hazy gold and a decent white head. Sour peach and a bit of chalk. Actually pretty decent.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of floral notes, some lemon, red berries, tea and light tartness. Flavour is along the same lines, with red berries, green tea, citrus peel, and sour tanginess on the finish. Actually pretty solid for what it is. Not the most complex beer, but they did a pretty good job given the concept. Okay.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color, small head. Very lemony, dry, with a reasonable acid touch; the aroma has a strong fruity component, sour apricots; the flavor as well is quite fruity, sour apricots, a bit peachy. The final is short.
A bit too much on the lemon side, but at least it’s a sour beer with character.
