Slobberbok is een volmoutig 4-granen donker bokbier. Iets zoetig en caramelachtig van smaak met een heerlijk bittere afdronk. Lekker bij guur herfstweer. EBC 118.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Dark brown color with a nice red hue. Medium sized creamy beige head. Smell and taste malts, some iron, leaves, a touch of dried fruits. Medium body and carbonation. Decent dunkler bock imo.

On tap at Arendsnest. Pours a deep brown with a touch of amber and a gray head that dissipates. To the edges. Aroma has notes of dark bread with a touch of toffee sweetness. Flavor starts with dark bread and dark sweet grains that mellows through the finish which is a bit thin.

On tap at PINT BBF’12. According to the fact-sheets a (very) different beer from the previous Slobberbok (6.5%). Clear dark reddish brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of light roasted malts, light chocolate, dark fruits, burnt caramel. Flavour is medium sweet, roasted malts, light fruity, light coffee, light dusty, light grainy bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. Decent.
