Growler from the brewery. Dark pour, almost back, with a huge beige head that dissipates quickly. Malted wheat aroma with lots of cloves, and more of that homebrew musty apple, wet paper aroma. Nice mouth feel and carb. The finish is quite roasty, with some nuttiness, and touches of chocolate malt. The has a textbook homebrew flavor. This tastes just like a dunkelwiesen I brewed from and extract kit.

Draft - Olive, prune and some estery notes. Deep Maroon, black with a decent brown head. Light soured dark malts, some soy and vegetal notes.
