Dark ruby and chestnut brown color, good brown head. Metallic, yeasty and chocolaty roasted nose - yeast notes are similar to their Pijtje. Also the flavor is something like that. Alcoholic, roasted, chocolaty malty, orange peels, yeast. Kind of "muddy palate". Some kandy sugar in the finish but it dried in the aftertaste. Typical Dutch sweetened bock.

A hazy brown beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is slightly acidic, while the flavor is sweet malt. Nothing special.

(Bottle 25 cl) Beautiful, clear, dark amber with a tall, handsome and quite stable, beige coloured head. Aroma of roasted malt. Rather heavy on CO2. Full-bodied with distinct accents of roasted malt and a rather dy finish. Has a touch of acidity. 160206

Very dark amber colour. Big tan head, long lasting. Has a malty and a little sour smell. The taste is full of licourice, spices and malt. A bit sweet too. The aftertaste is a bit smoked with hints of tobacco and some bitterness. Also dry. A pretty good bock beer.

Bottled. Mahogany colour, very rich head. Light vinegar aroma. Medium bodied. Beneath the toffee some acidity lures. Grassy finish.

Sampled at Utrechts Bokbierfestival Perfect nut-brown color, with beautiful lacing (this one looked the best i've seen at the festival). Hmm, not more notes, just the perfect appearance on my ratingsheet...sorry :-S
