Huge light-brown head over cola-coloured beer. Fresh bread/yeast nose, bit lactic. Outspoken liquorice taste, drop ; bitterish-sweet, faintly nutty. Apart from the liquorice flavour - which in itself isn’t too exciting - preciously little else and generally dull. Medium bodied, very slick to viscous, well-carbonated. Initiative, originality, tantalizing hints, complexity, etc, etc... somebody ever heard of?

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Spiced and estery yeasty notes in the aroma. Sweet malty and estery fruity flavour with a mild bitternes showing through into a mild sweetend finish.

Draught, 6.5%. Spicy and wheaty aroma. Clear dark grey amber colour. Small stable head. The flavour is spicy and wheaty like the aroma. Slightly sweet. Tastes like a Dunkelweizen or perhaps a weak Weizenbock. Low carbonation, but pleasant.

On tap @ Arendsnest last winter. Reddish brown beer, tan head. Aroma of grain, caramel, yeast. Flavour is caramel, some fruits, roasted malts. Very thin. Disappointing Bock, especially after being chosen best Bockbeer in NL.
