On tap at Arendnest. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dark fruit and raisin with an underlying dark grains. Flavor starts with raisins and has a dark fruit note with some dark bread underlying.

Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam
Hazy dark amber color, creamy head. Some vegetables aroma, and very metallic flavor; also, caramel and light sweetness.
Not pleasant.

500ml bottle. Clear dark amber colour with huge, firm, foamy, off-white head. Fruity aroma has notes of red and dark berries, minimally sweet, minimally tart and with a dry touch of leather. Taste is decently dry, leather-like dark malty, a bit yeasty, later also minimally herbal.

Shared a bottle with DutchDrebus. I thought it would be a dull and boring one, but it turned out it had a pretty nice color and taste. Have to admit that I don’t remember much more from this beer, just that it was better than expected.

Had this one a while ago. I remember it smelled a bit hoppy and it quite surprised me since it didn’t look, smell and taste like regular bock beers.

Herb-malziger Antrunk, leicht süß, sehr viel CO2. Das CO2 behindert den Aromenaufbau erheblich, die Malzigkeit bleibt sehr gering, einzig der Hopfen wird stärker. Daneben etwas bitter, wenig malzlastig, frisch, wenig aromenreich. Eintöniger Bock. 11/8/8/7/11/7

Bottle from Bier Koning. Cloudy brown beer. Small off white head. Light dry palate. Bubbly carbonation. Creamy fresh malt with a little caramel. Trace amounts of hop. Dry minerally finish. Alright but the least interesting beer I’ve had from this brewer.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Ambery pale nutbrown colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is bready and caramel malts slong with some slight notes of burnt sugar and some mild herbs. Flavour is a quite much the same along with some spices, earth and mild notes of alcohol.
