300ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, chestnut colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly nutty, toasty, dark malty aroma, hints of nougat, toffee, toasted nuts, caramel, a touch of malt lozenge, whiffs of cinnamon. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice malty flavours, almost some spicy Xmas character - not bad.

Pours a deep dark red brown with a nice big off-white head. Aroma of dark ripe fruit, roasted malts, caramel, sugar, some chocolate. Sweet with a light bitter finish.

Bottle at home. Dark brown with short lasting head. Sweet roasted malts, roasted, chestnuts, Licorice, tea, dry leaves, strong roast and bitter. Sweet and quite bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Finishes bitter and dry, quite nice.

Bottle. Malt, cinnamon and speculaas in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty caramelly spicy flavor, with hints of cinnamon and licorice. A bit too spicy for me.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge long living head. Starts not as strong as exspected, intense malty, more and more alcoholic. Some earthy notes. Finish a bit milder. Okay.
