Draft pour pint at Golden Valley, presented on nitro. Near black pour, thick cream. Drinks like chocolate milk. Smooth, creamy and delicious. Very interesting cocoa, toffee like aroma. Roasted malt, battling a subtle sweetness. Very tasty stout here.

On tap at golden Valley brewing. Pours out black topped with a creamy tan head. Nose is sold roast some light ash notes and a little rolled oats. Taste is more of the nice roast malt light chocolate and some more of the oats.

On tap at Golden Valley, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is robust, with notes of dry cocoa, oats, and toasted bread. Flavour is similar, with low residual sweetness - oats, cocoa, and roasted malt. Thick palate without much sweetness at all. Well-constructed and enjoyable. Good.

Draft - Oats, cocoa and some chocolate notes. Jet brown with a decent brown head. Toasty notes, some dark fruit and a rich body. A bit boring, but OK.

Keg at the brewpub in Beaverton, 11/11/14. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is light roast, chocolate, toffee, spice. Taste comprises light coffee, richer chocolate notes, dark malt, subtle roasting and charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout, becomes a little sweeter in the close.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of chocolate as well as notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish, where the roasted malt also lends it a slight acidity.
