New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($7): pours blacky with a large, frothy, beige head. Aroma is light coffee, malt, mollasses, not much roast, perhaps a light fruitiness, and a hint of nose tingling boosieness. Taste took me by surprise as it was way hoppier and roastier than I would have expected. Dry and kind of earthy. Interesting. I was expecting something on the sweeter end.

33cl bottle from some bottle shop in Tallinn some time ago. Pours close to pitch black with a modest, but lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, lots of cocoa, dark chocolate and some dark fruits, hints of coffee and berries. Medium to moderate sweet with solid roasty and chocolaty flavours and a surprisingly balanced bitterness. Just delicious!

Cloudy black beer with a brown head. Smell has malt, hop, grapefruit, chocolate... And the taste follows suit but it’s all really well balanced. Really rich and hearty as well. Beautiful.

Bottle at malamačka. Pours a pitch black color, topped with a decent, cream colored head. Roasty aroma, coffee notes and some chocolate. Mild dried fruity notes. Mildly roasty taste, fine bitterness. Alcohol nicely hidden, just some fine warming feel. Strong and creamy.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.33 bottle at Punk Rock Holiday, Tolmin, Slovenia. Very dark brown with brownish head. Chocolate, dry fruits aroma. Very dry, woody, roasty, chocolate. Very dry finish, too. Coffee. Nicely dry hopped. It’s a good RIS, and good hops!

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of kajser27, shared with him and others. Deep black coloured, small to medium sized brown head, chocolate and whiff of wood in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, some alcohol and hops with burnt malty notes in the finish. Nice one.

Courtesy of kajser (huge thanks!), shared with ogivlado, Mrazek and franski. Black, tiny tan head. Creamy sweet aroma, slightly roasty, vague orange liqueur, dark chocolate, heavy without being overbearing. Lovely. Roasty, very roasty aroma, dark chocolate with extra bitterness, apart from the roastiness, slightly herbal, rough. Yeah, harsh in a way, but balanced out somewhat. Slightly dully soft in the finish, apart from the lingering (paw p... oof sorry) bitterness. Excellently crafted more or less.
