Crux’s interpretation of a traditional Belgian-style red ale. Malty sweetness is enhanced by a slight acidity. Hints of spice and fruit entice with each sip.

On tap at the brewery. Pours out a amber red topped with a small head. Nose is nice cherries funk barrel notes. Taste is more of the nice cherries sweetness tart barrel funk.

Draft - Soured malts and some umame. Clear dark gold with a thin white head. Light bubblegum and pale malts. Not even close. No tartness or cherries. I understand interpretation, but this is a bit far removed.
