A dry white wine made from six varietals of organic fall apples. Full bodied, this wine has aromas & flavours of fresh picked summer apples, crisp undertones of citrus with hints of green apple and spice. Serves well with turkey, poultry, pork, cheddar cheese and stir fries. Served chilled.

Nice pale straw colour, no foam. Good sweet apple on the nose though a little vinous and alcoholic. Let it sit for awhile.... this happened on the last wine from this place, it needed a few minutes to get some air to blow off the bad alcohol vibes. It eases up on the nose after awhile, more fruit green apple comes out. Flavour is a mostly chewy apple, though very dry with lots of wood in there. Warming from the alcohol, lingering sweetness. Moves into more juicy territory with a bit more aeration. Not bad, a little simple.

Bottle sampled at Forbidden Fruit, pours a clear blonde. Aroma brings out lots of apple butter, with a touch of baked apple and light acidity. Flavour is dry and complex, with lots of baked apple, apple butter and almost a touch of cinnamon. Light acidity and almost a dry tartness on the finish. Excellent stuff.

Bottle - Semi sweet apple and green skin. Almost clear. Light sulphur and a dry apple. Decent.

At the winery, vintage 2010; 12.5% ABV
Pale off yellow color. Light nose, with some apples, and light hazelnut touch; also some acidity; light but elegant. Smooth silky mouthfeel, with mild apple flavor, moderate residual sweetness, correct acidity.
Nice and balanced.
