On tap at In de Wildeman. Black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of Belgian chocolate, roasted malts, creamy full-fat milk, light moccha. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, milk chocolate, roasted malts, moccha, roasted bitter finish. Nice stuff, albeit light, this doesn’t taste like 3.6% at all.

Black color, compact head. Very nice aroma of roasted malt and dark bread. Smooth body, some residual sweetness keeps the mouthfeel up; good flavor of roasted malt, dark chocolate, bread and biscuits; correct bitterness. The final is a bit astringent and drier, with impression of quality hops.
Classy.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 1. Opaque dark brown beer, little pale tan head. Light dry palate. Weird taste of cornflakes and coffee. Minerally dry finish. A bit strange.

Draught at SMÖF. Very black, rich beige head. Aroma of coffee and toast. Mid dry with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Some mild earth and salty licorice. Edgeless and nicely drinkable, albeit with all that lactose I better stay away from it...

Gravity cask @ Akkurat. Pours dark brown, almost black, with a frothy dark mocha head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet and tiny sour with roasted malts, dark rye bread, milk chocolate, sweetened dark roast coffee, moist soil, wood and hints of lactose. Taste is sweet and malty with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, pumpernickel, charred wood and milk chocolate. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly dry and light bodied. Finish is bitter, tiny sour and dry with pumpernickel, charred wood, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate and hints of lactose and lactic acid. Very nice and considering the very low abv it’s great!
