Named after Capella, a bright star in Auriga. The beer starts with sweet dark malt aromas followed by a nice medium body with chocolate and caramel flavors with a touch of roast. A collection of American hops (Nugget, Chinook, Centennial, and Cascade) brighten this lively porter.

On tap at Backpedal, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out roasted malt and some light licorice. Flavour is along the same lines, with licorice, roast, and a light lingering sweetness. Clean, but thin on the palate. Okay.
