Draught. Black with thin tan head. Light aroma, malt and caramel. Medium to full body, Malt, roast and toffee notes. Malt and chocolate finish. Definitely a sessionable beer.

On nitro at the brewery. Pours a dark brown color, a large white head. A light toasted and caramel nose. Light roast, Guinness like flavors, toffee, light chocolate. Solid.

On tap at Ex Novo, pours a deep dark brown / black with a medium tan head. Nose brings out lots of roast with a touch of dry cocoa. Flavour is bland but clean, with light toasted malt and stale coffee. Clean enough but fairly boring. Decent.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy brown with medium creamy beige head that lasts. The aroma is roast, bread, caramel, grain. Medium mouth, rich malt, chocolate, grain, roasted finish, light bitterness, very good.

Draft - Dark malts and nice roast. Jet brown with a rich light brown head. Lots of dark roast and a nice light clean finish. Nice.
