Brown-black. Much. much too sweet. If I wanted to drink syrup I would have bought syrup. One of the worst interpretations pof Baltic porter.

It is indeed bottom-fermented, and somewhat bockish (ala a recent debate on usenet). On the sweet side, fairly clean and creamy mouthfeel. Slight roastiness sets it aside from bocks though, giving it more of a porter flavor. Pretty nice, i thought. Dark brown color - brownish foamy head. Nice lacing.

re-rate pending. I just had this beer recently and it’s much better than my previous review so I’l get another bottle and take notes.
