From tap at Fat Head’s, Portland. Aroma is malt, caramel, resinous hops, dark bread. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a fairly bitter finish. Body is medium. Sweetish and bitter, some pleasant hoppy notes. Very decent Red Ale.

On tap at the brewery pours out amber color topped with a small sand head. Aroma is tropical fruit hops caramel malt sweetness. Taste is more of the nice hop treatment sweet caramel malt balance.

On tap at the PDX brewery. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. A light fruity caramel nose. The flavor is caramel, toast, citrus. Clean and flavorful. Smooth.

On tap at Fat Head's, pours a clear amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma is on the hoppier side for an amber, with tropical fruits, some resin and caramel malt. Flavour is balanced, with caramel bready malt, resinous hops and a dry finish. Well-balanced and flavourful. Very good.

Draft - Light hops and Amber malts, clear Amber with a nice beige head. Light battering hops and some caramel malts. Bitterness is a bit over the top for the style.

On draft at Fatheads N Olnstead OH. Pours reddish amber with an off white head. Malty aroma. Flavors toasted malt with a mild hoppy finish.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear dark reddish-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Malty aroma with mild hops behind it. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, hops and caramel. The finish is malty with a short and sweet aftertaste. Just average overall.
