500ml Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2014) - Golden in colour. Tea, lemon, grapefruit and peach all feature in the enticing aroma. Nicely balanced taste with notes from the bergamot and the hops combining to good effect. Very refreshing and almost dangerously drinkable for the abv.

500ml bottle. Slightly hazy orange golden colour, foamy off-white head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruit passionfruit, citrusy grapefruit. Taste is biscuity malt caramel with earl grey tea notes and fruity orange, grapefruit, pine, hop bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy hoppy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett, shared with Button, under a tree at Ripon races, 18th May. Pale, lightly hazy, amber. Thin, white head. Grapefruit. Ripe orange. Hint of stewed tea. Taste has a tea like dryness. The bitterness comes later. Finish is much the same. Easy drinking.

At King Arthur in Ciampino (Rome). Pours copper reddish, cloudy with a minimal foamy head. Nose of fresh lime, tangerine, hops. Mouth: bread malty initial feel, combined with a gentle bitterness. Sweet and bitter, easy drinking. What a great beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is citrus hop pine needle. The flavour is medium bitter, light sweet with a rich tropical fruit hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lovely and refreshing but I canโ€™t say I got much early grey from this!

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden coloured. The Earl Grey isnโ€™t too evident, but there is a small fusion evident. Fruit is dominant with a floral aroma and thereโ€™s some peach in the taste.

On cask at SIBA BeerX - First one of the night and a tough act to follow. Deep amber gold body, nice thick and solid white top, with a gentle carbonation. Nose is pine, spiced oranges, and yes bergamot oranges too. Taste is helped by a lovely rich smooth palate, helps pick out more fruit and more citrus. Long finish to this, longer than the drink lasted. Luverly.
