Draught @ Hellbent, Seattle, WA. Pours dark reddish with a smooth head. Aroma of malts, toffee, syrup and caramely malts. Taste is grainy, earthy and slightly malty and caramely with some toffee and berries. Finish is malty, slightly earthy and caramely with some toffee. A bit unbalanced.

Draft pour pint at a place where this was practically the only craft beer on tap. The definition of an obvious choice. Reddish copper color with a ton of head and lace. Nutty malt aroma and flavor. Reds are always harsh for me, whether they are strong or not. Malt forward.finish. Biting linger. Just alright for me.

On tap at Hellbent, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma is well-balanced between resinous hops, light wood and caramel malt. Flavour brings out metallic notes, caramel malt and some resinous hops. Decent balance, skewed towards the malts. Okay.

Draft - Caramel and lots of nice floral hop notes. Clear copper with a nice rich off white head. Resin, caramel and a dry hoppy bitter finish. Nice.
