Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy earthy dark brown with a near whiter head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has earthy dark grains and a nice pine note with grass backing. Flavor has a nice pine note that combines well with grass and pine notes.

Draught at the brewery
Black color. The aroma is moderately resiny. The flavor is rather chocolatey, and very hoppy/resiny at the same time.
This is what you would expect from a Black IPA. Straight. Good.

On tap at Populuxe, pours a deep dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, piney hops, and buttery notes. Flavour brings out a nice balance of piney hops and roasted malts, with a weird vegetal quality. Nicely balanced, but the off-notes throw this off a bit. Decent.
