Pours a nice dark brown from a bottle, khaki head. Roast coffee aroma, flavor is actually somewhat sour, infected bottle? Doesn't damage it, just changes it, certainly not picking up any cocoa or vanilla. Good beer? Just not what I asked for?

Draft pour pint at Bad Jimmy’s. Cola brown pour with a cola consistent head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavor is a rich, doughy malt with a soft chocolate, and an even softer vanilla. Watered down, rich malt finish. Hmmm. Started out fun, ended strange. Alright beer here.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a sweet chocolate note with vanilla and dark grains backing. Flavor has sweet chocolate and dark grains with growing vanilla.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, roast, vanilla extract. Medium body, vanilla bean, cream, light cocoa, dry finish, good.

On tap at Bad Jimmy's, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry cocoa, no vanilla and a touch of roast. Flavour brings out the vanilla upfront, followed by cocoa, with a bready malt body. Not much going on here besides the vanilla. Decent, but unexciting.

Draft - Light roast and cocoa. Jet black with a light brown head. Light cocoa and chocolate notes with a hint of vanilla. Not enough oomph, watered down.
