Bottle thx to benzai. Light orange to yellow colour with particles and a quickly gone head. Smells hefeweizen, banana, yeast, herbs. Tastes hefeweizen with herbs, cinnamon, brown sugar, caramel, banana and raisins. Very sweet taste. Medium body, very sugary, low carbo.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a medium head. Aroma is yeasty, some lemon and clove. Taste has some ginger and cookie spices to start. Lebkuchen spices on the finish. A little watery in places. I liked it.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Hazy yellow-golden. Yeasty spicy aroma with some ginger and candies. Sweet flavor, suagry and candy-ish with some spices. Medium-bodied. Not good.

Brown golden colour, white head, small floaties, as if they really tried to dissolve the cookies in the bottle. Aroma of cookies (speculoos), malt, cinnamon and biscuit. Sweet flavour, quite spicy. Only in the finish this beer comes together, there the speculoos and spiciness gives a nice rounded feel. Unfortunately that becomes boring rather quickly. Not too bad though, and bonus points for trying.

Bottle from beerplanet.eu web shop.Hhazy light brown color wit huge white head. Speculoos in aroma. Speculoos in taste. I feel, as I drink speculoos cakes. No way, no my beer, sorry, no beer at all.

bottle@Bier Central: appearance is hazy amber/orange with a white head, smell is speculoos & caramel malts, taste is sweet, caramel malts & sugar upfront with a definite hop note overwhelming them, aftertaste is ginger, lots of cinnamon, nutmeg & yep I am getting speculoos here, especially in the finish of the aftertaste this really tastes like speculoos, could have done without the first part, the hop really makes no sense to me /// sampled this one again, apparently brewed to a new recipe now but I assume that it is just extracts, not that bad actually, I am definitely picking up speculaas spices & the cookie itself here now, the base beer is negligible, does the trick

Small rim over fully hazy pale orange beer. Demure nose, faintly spiced, cinnamon & allspice (speculooskruiden). Really full speculoosflavour, spot on; even not too sweet, but very well-spiced. Well-carbonated, medium bodied. Definitely not bad, unless one dislikes speculoos (Be hard gingerbread).Earlier Rating: 3/5/2006 Total Score: 2.3Golden - pineapple colour, slightly hazy; initially good off-white head, receding to transparant rim. Sweet nose indeed, speculoos (=hard gingerbread) and spicey/greenery nose. Overpowering spicey taste, pèle-mèle nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, cardemom, allspice, but in untreatable measure. Sticky, cloying. Sorry, that’s not what I want from a drink.

28/06/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 1/2013 (2011-286) Thanks to Johnny for the bottle!

Murky amber brown beer, very cloudy. Almost a gusher upon opening, the foam kept on pouring out of the bottle, even after having poured more than half the bottle. So we got a towering huge white head, a bit creamy, not very stable, adhesive. Little brown specks floating around in the beer and in the head. Aroma: citrus, sour, floral notes, air refresher, little sugar. MF;: light carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, sugary, cloying, banana, spices, ginger, some mocha, hops. Aftertaste: banana, sour notes, sugary and ginger. Meh...
