Light roast and some light cream. Dark brown pour with good head and lacing. Tangy finish. Tap at brewery. A little better than the Lancaster. Tap at brewery.

Draft - Toast malts and some bready notes, dirty Amber brown with a beige head. Lots of toast and some malty sweetness and raisin. Not bad, but nothing like a cream ale I have had before.

On tap at Off the Rail, pours an opaque dark red with a medium beige head. Nose brings out light spices, cola and cream soda. Flavour is along the same lines - not your standard cream ale. Spices, cola and cream ale are all present, with a dry bready finish. More interesting that most cream ales but still not overly intriguing. Okay.

Draught at the brewery
Brown color with creamy beige head, a bit less than the usual nitro head. Light aroma of dark malts. Dry mouthfeel; mild flavor of chocolatey, dark, dusty malts, could fit the bill for some dry Mild Ale; very light fruity esters in the final add a bit of freshness. Correct bitterness.
Nice beer.
