Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy orange-blond color. The citrusy hops are very prominent in this beer, fruity elements everywhere, although it’s a bit different from classic Citra; they chose the right malt backbone, a lean and off-dry crackery pale malt; strong bitterness, expected, with hop resins to complement the hop fruits.
Once again Phillips shows that they can brew good hoppy beers.

Draft - Lots of pine and Mandarin peel. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Lots of bright orange peel, light tropical fruits and a fairly clean finish. Not as good as Citra can be, but ok.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous, fruity hops, and some slightly sweet caramel malt. Flavour brings out notes of floral hops, a little pine and dry biscuity malts to back. The floral and pine really stand out, with a deep flavour profile. Highly drinkable, with a dry mouthfeel. Great single hop IPA.
