Bottled. Pale yellow, brief head. Foul compost heap aroma. Sweet and fruity with lots of decomposing vegetables and some unpleasant saccharine. Soem stale hops leads to an inky finish. An awful industrial lager.

(Bottle 25 cl) Very pale golden with a small, creamy head. Very refined floral nose from the hops. Medium body and a rather bitter finish. 050298

draught (Yellow) golden beer, clear; good white head, not very lasting. Rather hoppy nose, very faint cigar smoke aroma. Again faint smokey, hoppy flavours, overlying pilsner and crystal malts. Bit duff ending, less lively; getting sweeter too with warming up. Light, slight burning. Thanks to the hoppy flavours & aroma’s, definitely amongst Belgium better industrial pilseners. Which is still not saying a great deal. And I hear from the pubowners, A/M are harsh masters, with only eye for quantity, instead of quality. Which bears evil for the Cristal.

Bottle Lightly sweet, somewhat hoppy aroma, not attactive at all. Very palish yellow. Lightly bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Has some medical sirupy taste.
