The apricots are sourced from environmentally-friendly and sustainable agriculture. The proportion is 300 g of fruit blended with one litre of lambic, and the soaking time is very short. Specifically, it will only take around five weeks for the lambic to extract the fragrances and flavours of the fruit. It is worthwhile to note that Fou’Foune kicks off the bottling season around the end of August. Given its success, Fou’Foune has taken up third place among the fruit beers in terms of volume, behind the traditional kriek and Rosé de Gambrinus.

I've had this twice on tap, unsure vintage, but this is my first from the bottle. Noticably better and really just as good as it gets. Every sip was a delight. Worth every Pfennig.

0,75l bottle at home. Vintage 2017. yellow murky color, small white head. smells intense apricots, stone fruits, jammy. lovely lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes apricots, stone fruits, jammy, apricot pits, bit peppery, subtle funk. finishes light to medium dry and light to medium sour with notes of apricots, jammy and stone fruits notes. lovely lovely, great fruity notes, super smooth. I had rather sour older Fous, this is definitly not one of them. Super smooth fruity notes! Love it!

Re-rate: poured from the tap @ Dageraad. Nice balanced apricot, mild tartness, enjoyable. May 2, 2023 (8/4/8/4/17=4.1): Poured from 750mL bottle (bottled 21 August 2014). Hazy orange with white head. Nice apricot and funk. Has held up very well.

Sour, fruity, tart, a bit sweet. Apricot, a touch of lemony citrus, the anticipation of funk, smooth, dry. Refreshing and lovely.
