Draught. Black body with tan head. Top lacing on glass. Aroma is chocolate and roast. Big bodied, malty with chocolate notes. Toffee in the finish with a bitter edge, Not too sweet.

Draft at BitterCreek. Solid stout throughout. Near black pour with soft creamy head. Huge roasty aroma, silky smooth body, taste is right on bitter. Nothing wrong here.

On Tap Murky dark brown black. Scant thin tan head and spotty lacing. Classic big dark roast and lots of fresh upfront bitter piney hop flavors and bitterness. Quite aggressive, actually. Lots of IBUs, this would age and mellow nicely I believe. Good bold fresh tasting stout with a strong west coast hop influence.

On tap at the Loyal Legion, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and subdued cocoa. Flavour brings out toasted malt, subdued cocoa and light spiciness. Not the most complex or deep beer from these guys. Meh.

Draught at Lardo, Portland; 7.7% ABV
Dark brown color. Among Stouts, this one expresses a good malty character, and some chocolate, to go hand in hand with the roasted malts.
Very good.

Draft - Dark roast, some chocolate and nice hop notes. Jet black with almost no head. Nice hop forward notes, roast and nice bitterness. Very hoppy and nice.

On tap at bier thirty Pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts coffee and some dark chocolate. Taste is as the nose with a nice roast chocolate and a little bit of bitterness.
