Dick’s Imperial Red is a malt bomb of a beer that brings strong caramel notes at first ending with a nice hoppy finish and hint of citrus to balance it out.
The Imperial Red pours a nice reddish amber and with a lasting amber head. A few words that best describe this Imperial Irish Style Ale are caramel, malty and boozy.

Draft - Caramel, toffee and some cocoa. Clear gold with a decent white head. Toast, toffee and some long cocoa malts. Odd for the style, but tasty.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours deeply hazy dark copper/amber with a small creamy off-white head. Strong roast malt aroma with floral/earthy hop accompaniement. Med+ body. Flavor is roast malt, with a lot of bitter - seems more citrus than resin, and it’s earthy and floral. It is quite clear that the brewer did not skimp on ingredients. This stuff is packed full of everything. It finishes slightly less than dry, maybe you could say sticky, but it’s not sweet. Must be a heck of a challenge to balance something like this.
