Made with true Perry pears from an old Perry orchard that was discovered a few years ago on the Saanich Peninsula. Only a few dozen of these trees remain on the property, and we pick them every year to produce this rare cider. Expect an ultra-dry cider with herbaceous notes balanced with the residual sweetness from the Perry pears.

Pale color, no head. Mild aroma: hazelnuts, mold, pear. Light and tart mouthfeel, dry; very little fruit flavor, mildly acidic.
Simplistic.

750mL bottle, pours a clear yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry pear skins with a touch of sweetness. Flavour is very refreshing, almost funky, with pear skins, a tiny bit of sweetness, and a little funk. Medium carbonation, with a nice lightly funky finish and pear skins and dryness. Very nice perry.
