Seasonal Release Series. Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. It’s a session beer that everyone can enjoy.

Like many Ninkasi beers, this is an ale more than a specific style, though we put it in the Northwest Pale category. A light toasted malt flavor is more reminiscent of a British Pale, but the hops are bright and very Northwest. Flavorful and easy to drink!

In a tulip glass at Monk’s Kettle at a Ninkasi paired dinner. Pours a brushed gold with a fluffy white head. Lots of buiscuit and bread with a clean meadow scent showing very late. Palate is very bitter and some nice grass hops at the end. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied to slightly thin.

Bomber. Medium to deep amber body with an off-white, fizzy head, mostly diminishing. Malty aroma out front. Bread, caramel, grain, sweet raisin. More subdued in the nose are the floral hops.Just a hint of citrus and pine. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. The bitterness goes up a notch in the finish which is lightly sweet. The bitterness sticks around a long time along with a bread crust taste. Medium body with a velvety texture. Moderate to lively carbonation. Far from an in-your-face APA like Alpha King. Less carbonation, less crisp and clean. Subtle hops below a maltiness. Nonetheless, it works because of the balance.

Bomber from Bottle Trek. Pours orange amber with a slight white head that died lacing. Aromas of caramel and piney hop. Medium body with smooth, near creamy, carbonation. Flavor is mildly roasted caramel with a lot of floral/citrus/resin. Finishes definitely bitter. Really tasty.

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a slightly off-white head that fades over a clear golden body. Aroma is floral and herbal hoppiness, with honey and graham cracker. Taste is grainy and spicy/herbal hops with honey and maybe a touch of nearly roasted malt. Lively carbonation.

Bomber. Poured pale orange gold with thin fast dissipating white head. Thin brief whiff of hop and citrus. Stripy malt and hoppy flavour with a hop finish. Drinkable and not too expensive.
