On tap at Wet Dog Cafe / Astoria Brewing, pours a hazy golden orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops and enough bready caramel malt to balance. Flavour is quite different from the Rainy Day IPA, bringing out more resinous hops above anything, with a dry woody malt finish. Very well-balanced, with a pleasant astringency. Excellent IPA.

Clear copper-golden color, decent white head, some lace. Piney-resiny aroma. Medium-bodied. Flavor is also piney, resiny hoppy with clean dry palate. Long lingering bitterness. Good standard IPA - not quite DIPA but IPA with a punch.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear orange-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Patchwork lacing on the glass. Citrusy hops aroma with some skunky notes. Medium body with flavors of hops, citrus and sweet malt. That skunky note is here as well. The finish is hoppy and lingers a bit. Average beer that would have been noticeably better without the skunky distraction. Had I known this would be beer #3000 I would have planned a little better.
