Bad ass - Dark malts and nice roast. Jet black with a rich brown head. Light sweet roast with some dark fruit. Light on the tongue and a fruity note in the finish.

On tap at Wet Dog Cafe / Astoria Brewing, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt, chocolate and light residual sweetness. Flavour is full-on, with chocolate, licorice, and medium roast. Creamy, smooth palate, with a little too much licorice for my taste. A good stout for sure.

Draught@Wet Dog Cafe, Astoria
Dark black, opaque color, good creamy brown head, some lace. Nicely roasted licorice and coffee aroma. Full-bodied. Starts a bit milky, then coffee, roasted malts and certainly oat. Oat makes palate smooth and enjoyable. Lingering licorice in the aftertaste. This is really bad ass, enjoyable impy!
