Draft at the brewpub. Dark brown, light brown head that coats the glass in lace. Roasted malt, sweet coffee, some chocolate and molasses. Definitely leans sweet. Smooth and creamy. Soft and easy drinking. Pretty nice, but perhaps a touch sweet.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is roast and cracker malt. Medium body, cocoa, cracker, light dry finish, good.

Draft - Roast malts and some chocolate. Jet brown with a rich brown head. Dark roast, chocolate and nice toast. The best they offer.

On tap at Bellevue, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is bland, with notes of toasted malt and light fruitiness. Flavour is decent, with notes of roast, red fruits and light cocoa. Decently balanced and medium bodied. Decent stout.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is chocolate over treacle. Light treacle. Med + body. Kinda fizzy carb. Flavor is treacle, chocolate, maybe hint of anise, seems to get coffee towards the finish. Fairly smooth. Fills the bill, style wise.
