On tap at Baerlic, pours a deep maroon with a small off-white head. Aroma is very subtle, with notes of orange and cocoa powder. Flavour is quite robust for the style, with lots of oranges, cocoa and citrus hops. Seems to be anything but a brown ale, as this is immensely flavourful and quite complex. Really well-brewed.
