[2/25/15] Draught at Baerlic Brewing in Portland. Hazy orange. Aroma of grains and a fruity note. Sweetish flavor, grainy, a bit fruity, with a bitterish finish. Rather light-bodied.

On tap at Baerlic, pours a mostly clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is hoppier than the average cream ale, with light citrus hops. Flavour is quite nice, with citrus hops and light pillow sweet cereal malt. Surprisingly flavourful and pleasant for a cream ale. Good stuff.

Keg at the taproom, 09/11/14. Lightly hazed blonde with a moderate off white top. Nose is caramel, creamy, vanilla, light citric. Taste comprises caramel, sweet licks, vanilla custard. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate. Ok, pretty much what you expect from the style, nothing I’d go back for having ticked it though!
