English-Style Old Ale with an American hop twist. We blend a new beer with an aged base beer to get the luscious malt complexity in Throttle Jockey. The aroma is dried fruit and sweet malt. This medium-bodied beer packs flavors of rich malt with a blend of caramel molasses, a touch of light chocolate, and a hint of Maderia wine from the aging. The American hops are there to balance it our and provide drinkability.

Taster at BitterCreek. Tangy, fruity ale. Dark copper with small frothy head. Malty aroma and taste, some fruity sweetness and leathery earth notes. A bit sweeter than the norm, but tasty.

On tap at Apex, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Nose brings out dry bready malts and light woodiness. Flavour is well-balanced, with wood, resins and caramel malts. Well-balanced and cohesive. Good blend.
