Black Mamba is a positive danger to all English ale lovers. As the most dangerous snake on the planet looks for its prey, this stout will sting you with its venom, which will make you want to drink more and more. Coffee in the aroma. Proper as a stout should be; dark, intense and flavourful.

Cask, half pint. Almost black with a short living head. Coffee, almost fresh grinded in the aroma. No carbon. Malty with coffee flavors. Thin, luckily not too sweet. Laurel in the aftertaste.

Cask at the Fiddler brewpub, Den Haag. Almost clear dark amber beer, residual cream colour head. The very modest malts bring a trace of dark chocolate. Mild tang and very mild bitterness. Light finish. An extremely light stout. Okay.

Cask taster @ The Fiddler Brewpub. Part of their Beer Flight. Shot glass sized. Red wine-hued dark brown, blackish with zero head. Nose is liquorish, vegetable, soy, roots. Taste is roots, herbal, bark, watery soy sauce, cooking oil. Flat, watery & oily body. I suppose decent compared to their other beers.

Tap at Fidlers. Black with small off white head. Lots and lots of licorice, salmiak, roasted malts. Light body and carbonation. Meh, way too much licorice.
