Draft at brewery. Black beer with ghost white head. The defining character here is a bitter black malt finish. Not sweet, a mineral quality cutting through the beer offsetting some of the black malts. A little toffee mixed up in there. Decent enough porter.

On tap at Spinnaker Bay, pours dark brown with an amber tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt upfront and a light hop content. Flavour is really nice, with lots of roasted malt, dry chocolate and light hopping. Very well-balanced and full-flavoured. Really nice.

Draft - Dark roast and chocolate notes. Deep brown with decent beige head. Dark roast, light burnt notes and some chocolate.
